There are 8 halls and 2 open air areas. 2024 saw 1250 exhibitors from 30 nations. I have been on a 4 day trip and I still did not see all the cars. 

You have to go back, revisit, savour the vehicles, the restorations, the history, absorb the information and the expertise.

A great takeaway from this show, apart from an unforseen car purchase of course,  is the auctioneers catalogue full of gorgeous photos, descriptions and the “estimated” sale price range during the bidding, not all of which hit the estimate, and those that exceed it, with stiff competition during the auction by phone, representatives and collectors in person.

Info: Created by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs in 2005, National Drive It Day celebrates the “Thousand Mile Trial” the first of which started in London on 23rd April 1900. 
 

Open to manfacturers and private entries, the trial included hill climbs and speed trials and  followed a route that included Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Carlisle, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds and Nottingham before returning to the capital on 12th May and for many people in the country would give them the chance to see a motor car for the first time in their lives..  more

In enthusiast circles, a Mopar car generally refers to vehicles produced by the original Chrysler Corporation brands: Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto, Ram, Chrysler, and Imperial. Of these brands, only Dodge, Ram, and Chrysler remain today. But, when Chrysler acquired AMC, Eagle, and Jeep in 1987, Mopar enthusiasts embraced Jeep (the sole survivor of the three) as part of the modern Mopar family.

German vehicle owners are welcome to bring theirs to this event; from historic to modern, all German marques are welcome to form a static display against the backdrop of our historic site and our Collection. While you’re here, why not put your vehicle through its paces by signing up to participate in the Test Hill ascent (subject to weather conditions), places are limited, so please visit the Signing On area soon after your arrival.

Sun 12th October 2025 - PREMIUM EVENT DAY -MOTORSPORT DAY

Info: Expect an impressive track day, hill climbs and exceptional displays.

Competition cars from all ages will be put through their paces on the adjacent Mercedes-Benz World circuit and later in the day, Test Hill will be in action. Expect to see a wide variety of competition cars from GTs to Touring cars and Group B rally cars. Spectators will have the rare opportunity to see and hear competition cars!

With food stalls, music and access to all the Museum for the day, expect a wonderful day out.
