It's amazing what you find parked at Goodwood
20 August, 2022
The following is the introduction we used to inform you of the 2018 Festival- which encourages you to get involved 100% by dressing up and blending in with everyone else at this 3 day event:
Prepare to step back in time, as spectators dress up to the
nines in fifties-style clothes to marvel at the impressive cars
& motorcycles which competed during their heydey
at Goodwood!
The dress code during the event is tweeds and trilbies for men, furs and frocks for the ladies, and you won't see a modern car within the circuit on race days.
Really it's not actually compulsory, but, the vast majority of Goodwood Revival visitors do dress in period style with many going to great lengths to achieve that authentic look, get some serious street cred with friends and then of course there are the photographs.......so, it's worth it!
And just to get you in the mood, here are a few shots of what has gone before on the Goodwood Estate set in 12,000 acres of beautiful South Downs countryside at Chichester, West Sussex.
There will be air displays from 17.30hrs on Thursday including Spitfires from 18.00hrs
Then on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning at 0800hrs a 10 minute air display and at 1900hrs on Saturday night a Spitfire Duo.
